These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the greenrats website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service provides subscription-based league organization and automated scoring for golf pick'em leagues. Scoring is based on publicly available tournament results and published prize money, and does not represent actual money earned by users.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.
No Wagering or Prize Pools
The Service does not support wagering, entry fees, cash prize pools, escrow, or payouts. You may not use the Service to organize or facilitate gambling or wagering activities.
Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically unless canceled. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes attempting to access accounts that are not yours, interfering with the Service, reverse engineering, or using the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (such as league names and picks). You grant greenrats a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use that content to operate and improve the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by greenrats or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services or data sources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, greenrats will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless greenrats from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the effective date and, if appropriate, by additional notice within the Service.
